Job summary

New City College is seeking two Senior Curriculum Managers to lead apprenticeship provision at Hackney Campus. You will manage lecturers and assessors, delivering strategic and operational leadership to optimise learner outcomes and employer satisfaction.

These roles include teaching commitments of about 9 hours per week and oversee two portfolios in Engineering and Wider Apprenticeship Provision within a new directorate.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with significant experience delivering and managing apprenticeship or vocational programmes.
• Proven track record in leading curriculum and improving learner outcomes.
• Experience in staff management and ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an allocated apprenticeship curriculum area with direction and performance management.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, assessment and apprentice achievement.
• Monitor curriculum performance, learner progress and readiness for end-point assessments.
• Ensure staffing deployment, curriculum planning, employer engagement and funding compliance.
• Contribute to the directorate's strategic objectives and apprentice experience.
