Due to expansion, we currently have a need for a Senior Application Support Engineer to join a growing Operational Trading support Team. The current Trading Support Team is expanding to meet the growing needs of our customer and this increased capacity will allow you to join a team that is providing Incident Management, Project Testing, Project Deployment and Service Improvements.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior member of the team, you will lead by example to the other team members and provide mentoring where required. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering Service Improvements across the team identifying areas that can be enhanced and improved. This will include:

  • Provide end-to-end application support for a large set of Business Users across a suite of Web and Client based applications.
  • Monitor Production environments for issues and process failures. Respond to and resolve issues and Incidents raised by Business Users.
  • Escalate and communicate issues to Business Users and Service Delivery where necessary to restore services quickly and within documented SLAs.
Who are we looking for?
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and resolving User Incidents across Information Technology Services.
  • Experience in assessing, designing and implementing Service Improvements to Users.
  • Experience mentoring junior Application Support Team Engineers.
  • Exposure to the following Technologies:
  • Tibco Middleware (Business Works), ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management) Software, PI Historian, .Net.
