Job summary

Superdry is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to drive on-time delivery and cost control across production orders. You will coordinate with HQ, factories, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality, timing, and efficient handovers while maintaining open costing and strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Senior level with market brands experience.
• Clear understanding of CP and supplier management within retail.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Capable of leading a regional team.
• Problem solver with production environment experience.
• Knowledge of open costing processes.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; good written and verbal.
• Multitasker with data handling and reporting abilities.
• Advanced MS Office/Excel skills.
• Solid knowledge of apparel/footwear, accessories; wet processing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders with vendors to ensure on time delivery and adherence to critical path.
• Communicate with HQ for supplier performance insights and product delivery expectations.
• Visit factories and processing centers; provide handover feedback to UK office.
• Track pre-production and shipment samples; ensure timely receipt.
• Ensure testing reports and inspections are completed and approved before shipment.
• Oversee product development with suppliers; ensure lead times and costings align with buying calendar.
• Coordinate with Design, Garment Tech, QC, Logistics and Finance to meet targets.
• Liaise with logistics and suppliers to arrange shipment bookings per handover dates.
