Tripadvisor Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Android) to join the Experiences Engineering mobile team. The role supports candidates within 1–2 hours of Oxford or London, with a remote-first approach and periodic in-person gatherings at the nearest office.

You will contribute across the full stack from design to deployment, shipping features frequently. We value collaboration with product and design, strong communication, and ownership of delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience of developing an Android app and familiarity with mobile web and back-end technologies.
• At least 5 years’ experience of commercial software development.
• Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
• Excellent communication and ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Code and ship features for the Android app.
• Touch code across app and backend microservices.
• Collaborate with Product and design to define feature specifications and deliverables.
• Own all aspects of software engineering from design to deployment.
