Job summary

Fresha is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer in London to model data and build robust dbt pipelines, turning diverse data sources into clean, reliable datasets for commercial planning and growth insights.

Reporting to the VP Analytics, you will collaborate with product, engineering and analytics teams, optimize ELT workflows, document data assets, and mentor junior engineers, while four days in the office and one remote Wednesday per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with mature dbt projects across lifecycle.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and security.
• Experience with streaming and batch data ingestion.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data pipelines.
• Ability to coach junior engineers.
• Autonomous and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust dimensional data models from diverse data sources.
• Enhance the efficiency and performance of data models.
• Establish and maintain ELT pipelines for warehouse metrics.
• Advise product development on analytical implications of new features.
• Coach other engineers and analysts on data models and codebase.
• Analyze feature performance and support product operations with dashboards.
• Develop comprehensive data documentation for consistency.
