Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Analytics to design solutions that turn datasets into products and insights for global customers. You will help connect data pipelines, models, and user experiences on a cloud data platform in a remote UK setting.

You’ll mentor engineers, lead reviews, and collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers to productionize prototypes and deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 8 years of software development experience, or 6 years with a Master’s, or 3 with a PhD.
• Experience owning delivery on complex, multi-team software or data engineering projects.
• Background in automotive, consumer insights, or analytics-driven SaaS is desirable.
• Strong Python, SQL, and Git skills with production data pipelines; familiarity with Snowflake/Databricks/Foundry; JavaScript/TypeScript and React; scalable data architectures; ETL/ELT patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions that connect data pipelines, models, and user experiences into a coherent product.
• Lead code and design reviews; mentor engineers and run design reviews.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers to productionize prototypes.
• Own end-to-end analytical solution design on a modern cloud data platform; balance cost, risk, and value.
