Job summary

Cedent is seeking a Senior Scientist in Analytical Development (Chemistry) to lead the AD Chemistry team in Bedford, MA. You will develop and validate assays, oversee instrument operations (HPLC, LC/MS, CE-SDS, AUC) and ensure timely delivery for client projects.

You will transfer and qualify GMP methods, write protocols and reports, and train junior scientists while partnering with QC and QA to maintain quality and compliance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Chemistry or related field required.
• 10+ years of experience with LC/MS, HPLC, CE-SDS and AUC.
• Strong people management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Analytical Development Chemistry team, overseeing installation of new equipment and daily operation of HPLC, LC/MS, CE-SDS, SEC and AUC.
• Serve as the analytical methods expert to client teams and support transfer, qualification and validation of GMP methods (LC/MS, HPLC, CE-SDS, AUC).
• Ensure protocols and reports for method transfer, qualification and validation are written; train and supervise junior scientists.
