You will research financial transactions and global market developments, writing regular articles that combine data analysis, opinion, and wider market commentary on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

To achieve this, you will leverage proprietary data to garner insights into this fast-evolving market, as well as gather input from leading players across the sector to seek out new trends proactively, critically assess the insights you gather, and present this to our clients and subscribers.

As a senior team member, you will take ownership of research projects and become the go-to expert on the team for selected areas of coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Produce content covering some of the most significant and timely topics across infrastructure and energy markets to be published on the inspiratia platform
• Actively identify topics and develop a pipeline of analytical pieces based on daily monitoring of the market
• Cultivate a network of contacts that you can call on for input
• Present your work to inspiratia colleagues and clients, in a variety of forums
• Use proprietary data to seek out and highlight insightful market dynamics
• Take a leading role in researching topics and content for bespoke reports
• Work with our data team to ensure the highest standards of accuracy are being maintained

Requirements:

• Degree-level or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., STEM, finance, economics, or environmental science)
• 2-3 years of experience in analytical roles within the energy, infrastructure, or finance sectors
• Strong numerical skills, with demonstrated experience in data analysis, modelling, or market research, ideally within the energy space
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, renewable technology, energy infrastructure, or project finance
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and relevant programming libraries (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience in a fast-paced media or publishing environment, with familiarity with content management systems and skills in copywriting or audio editing

Package:

• £40,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a performance-based bonus
• 25 days of paid annual leave
