Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Senior Analyst in Glasgow to join the global Risk & Compliance function. You will assess new clients and matters for conflicts of interest, AML/CTF compliance, and sanctions requirements, collaborating with partners and teams across offices worldwide.

The role emphasizes analytic research, meticulous data handling, and strong communication to support risk management in a multinational law firm environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Risk and Compliance function within professional services, ideally within a law firm or large corporation.
• Degree qualified in Law, Risk Management, Business, Politics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake relevant research and analyse complex information.
• An interest in the work undertaken by a corporate multinational law firm.
• Strong interpersonal skills required to engage all levels of legal, including Partners and other Firm Management.

Responsibilities

• Research relevant information sources and international databases to verify client identities.
• Analyse sufficiency of identity documentation under global policy and AML/CTF laws.
• Ensure data integrity in conflicts and risk databases.
• Compose risk assessments referencing money laundering, bribery, sanctions, and FATF typologies.
• Identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest with lawyers across practice areas.
