Our prestigious client is a leading European real estate firm focusing on UK & European real estate investment opportunities.

The firm handles the full cycle of investments in real estate assets, specializing in Alternative Capital Markets. It is a market leader in identifying off-market transactions, conducting specialized due diligence, financial and transnational modeling, legal structuring, financing, debt negotiations, and developing exit strategies in collaboration with operating partners.

Following internal restructuring, our client seeks to add a Hotel & Hospitality Senior Analyst/Analyst to its growing team within the ACM division.

The role involves proactive management of new and ongoing investment projects, including investment analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, site visits, transaction documentation, and collaboration with local operating partners across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of real estate investing in the UK & Europe, investment analysis, financial modeling, and project management of multiple projects. Responsibilities also include brokering deals, managing, mentoring, and developing junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and perform due diligence on real estate investment opportunities in Hotels & Hospitality across the UK.
  • Create financial models, conduct market research, and liaise with stakeholders to evaluate investments.
  • Manage multiple due diligence processes with third-party technical, valuation, and legal advisers.
  • Coordinate with investors’ legal and structuring advisers to determine appropriate legal and tax structures.
  • Prepare investment memoranda for internal and investor review.
  • Participate in meetings with investors, management, and investment committees to discuss opportunities and asset management.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Analysts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in private equity real estate funds within the UK or Europe’s Hotels & Hospitality sector.
  • Experience in real estate finance and development in Hotels & Hospitality.
  • Background in Real Estate Agencies.
  • Strong understanding of investment, accounting, finance, and real estate terminology.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience managing due diligence with third-party advisers and drafting legal documentation.
  • Experience in drafting investment memos and asset management reports.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Degree in finance, economics, or related field; MBA preferred; CFA level experience advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and another European language is preferred.
