Job summary

Infleqtion UK is expanding its physics team in the UK and seeks an experimental AMO Physicist to join the quantum RF group. You will contribute to ongoing research and help explore concepts for future quantum RF sensor systems, working closely with physicists and engineers.

You will play a vital role in collaborative efforts, translate product needs into atomic designs, and drive testing and verification across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in experimental AMO physics and hands-on lab experience.
• Experience with Rydberg physics and electrometry is desirable.
• Proficiency with Python, C++, and signal processing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into atomic system designs.
• Lead high-value R&D projects with modelling and simulations.
• Design and execute testing plans to validate quantum devices.
• Integrate opto-mechanical, electronics and software components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones.
