Working for Essex is recruiting an AMHP Senior Social Worker to lead expert practice within the county's AMHP service. You will coordinate complex Mental Health Act assessments, triage initial enquiries, and work with partner agencies to ensure timely, least-restrictive interventions.

This permanent post is 37 hours over four days, with part-time pro rata and a seven‑day rota. Salary £48,205–£57,988 per year plus a 10% flat-rate allowance and an AMHP allowance of £2,400 per annum.

Competenze

• Qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration.
• AMHP qualification and recognition by ECC.

• Provide supervision, specialist advice and professional expertise for AMHPs.
• Undertake statutory Mental Health Act assessments and triage referrals.
