Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to join the Global Services Programme Management team in the UK or Ireland. You will oversee post-delivery aircraft interior modifications, coordinating engineering, airworthiness and logistics to meet schedule and budget.

Hybrid working is available. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in aerospace programme management or project engineering, plus experience with aircraft modification/integration and a STEM BS degree.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office applications including MS Project.
• Experience with aircraft modification / integration projects.
• Work within an engineering environment, ideally in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for the company to worldwide airline customers.
• Own delivery schedule from project award to final delivery.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues and opportunities.
• Lead internal program teams to execute requirements.
• Coordinate activities to ensure tasks progress per program requirements.
• Lead major milestone meetings and maintain minutes/action plans.
• Relay customer expectations to the Engineering team for alignment.
• Provide weekly status updates and risk summaries.
• Communicate program status and financial viability to senior management.
• Manage customer change requests and support cost/ schedule impact.
• Initiate invoicing for project payments and follow-up on payments.
• Assist in proposal creation in response to customer RFPs.
