Roku is seeking an experienced engineer to design and ship agentic AI systems that autonomously generate, test, and optimize code and UI experiences for the FRAME engine. This role emphasizes robust software engineering, clean architecture, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid office setting.

You will lead multi-agent workflows, explore LLM orchestration and AI tooling, and mentor peers to advance human-agent collaboration while delivering scalable solutions across the Roku

Qualifications

• Proven experience building agentic AI systems in production.
• Strong software engineering with scalable systems experience.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, RAG, and tool calling.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python for agent development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship reliable, scalable AI systems.
• Apply rigorous software engineering practices including clean architecture and testing.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems for FRAME engine.
• Architect multi-agent workflows covering planning, tool-use, and validation.
• Develop AI-powered automation for embedded environments and performance safety.
• Mentor engineers on AI-first development practices.
