Job summary

Multiverse is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, building end-to-end AI solutions that run in production. You will own deployments from backend to frontend, ensure GDPR compliance, and enable clients to operate and evolve the delivered systems.

The role emphasizes AI-first development, strong collaboration with Product and Engineering, and travel to client sites as needed. Hybrid work with Berlin presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ in customer-facing or full-stack roles.
• AI-first approach; ability to share knowledge with the team.
• Proficiency with Python (FastAPI or Django) and TypeScript/React.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, migrations, testing, and CI.
• Docker-based deployment and observability knowledge.
• Customer-facing delivery experience.
• Business-fluent German and strong English communication.
• GDPR experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to discuss and implement with customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers and business units, translating requirements into end-to-end technical solutions.
• Develop customer solutions and products interfacing with internal systems and platforms.
• Build AI prototypes and solutions, integrating AI end-to-end (backend to frontend).
• Deploy, monitor, and test solutions in production.
• Ensure privacy compliance for EU use.
• Enable customers to operate and evolve solutions.
• Feed learnings from projects back to Product and Engineering.
