Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in the UK is seeking an AI Security Engineering Lead to design and deliver secure engineering patterns, controls, and tooling for our AI/ML systems. This hands-on technical leadership role combines coding, automation, and platform design with mentoring across cross-functional teams.

You will champion secure architectures, embed DevSecOps practices, and guide the organisation as it scales generative AI.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior security engineer and leading engineering initiatives in a DevSecOps environment.
• Strong expertise securing AI and ML systems at scale, including model lifecycle security, data pipelines and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with ML stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow or Kubeflow, or equivalents like Vertex AI/Azure ML.
• Cloud-native and containerised architectures knowledge, including Kubernetes and serverless tech.
• Experience in hybrid public/private/on-prem environments and building automation tooling with Python/Go.
• Certs such as CISSP/CCSP or cloud security accreditations are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure engineering patterns, controls and tooling for AI/ML systems.
• Lead through engineering expertise, owning complex problem spaces in a hands-on role.
• Code, automation and platform design work while guiding direction across teams.
• Champion secure architectures and embed DevSecOps practices as generative AI scales.
• Collaborate with senior technical customers and cross-functional teams to raise security posture.
