Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Security Engineer focused on AI Security to be the deepest technical expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence and security. You will lead the security strategy for AI across the agentic SDLC and embed controls from day one.

You will shape Ripple's external AI security posture, contribute to industry standards and regulators, and partner with Engineering and Product to raise security across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of security engineering experience.
• Hands-on AI/ML security experience.
• Experience across cloud, IAM, and CI/CD security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Security strategy and roadmap across the AI development lifecycle.
• Design and implement security controls for LLM-integrated and agentic AI systems.
• Establish security guardrails, provenance standards, and audit trails for AI-enabled development.
• Perform security reviews and risk assessments of AI integrations entering production.
• Develop and scale Shadow AI detection and enforce AI acceptable use policies.
