Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect (ML & AI) to act as the trusted technical expert for customers and Field Engineering. You will guide enterprise workloads on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, focus on GenAI, ML, MLOps, and LLMOps, and mentor peers while advancing the AI roadmap.

You will engage with Solution Architects to design production-grade ML/AI solutions, deliver MVPs, and lead deep-dive sessions that align AI outcomes with business challenges.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on DS/ML experience with a focus on ML engineering or Data Science/AI.
• Hands-on experience with distributed Spark-based systems.
• Minimum 5+ years of customer-facing experience (pre/post-sales) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect production-level ML/AI workloads, including end-to-end pipelines and MLOps lifecycle.
• Lead GenAI initiatives: RAG, agentic systems, AI observability, and data querying.
• Provide advanced technical support to Solution Architects during sales cycles.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to influence AI roadmap.
• Drive thought leadership through tutorials, trainings, and industry talks.
