CFC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (AI & ML) to build production-ready AI agents and orchestrate multi-step underwriting workflows. You’ll design robust runtimes, data services, and guardrails, working closely with ML engineers to ensure reliability, observability, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

You’ll contribute to the agent runtime, durable state, long-running processes, and tool integrations while mentoring other engineers and collaborating with product and business teams to deliver

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience building LLM-based agents or agentic systems in production.
• Strong understanding of failure modes in agentic systems and how to mitigate them.
• 5+ years’ professional software development experience in Python or similar back-end language.
• Experience delivering AI coding agents in production and end-to-end system design.

Aufgaben

• Design, build and run production AI agents that automate multi-step underwriting decisions over unstructured data.
• Build the agent runtime with orchestration, durable state, retries and long-running workflows.
• Develop tools, APIs and data services that agents call with clear contracts and auditability.
• Engineer guardrails and fallbacks for high-stakes automated decisions.
• Instrument, monitor and troubleshoot agents in production, including tracing and logs.
