Qualifications

• Professional software engineering experience with ML/NLP or applied AI.
• Experience shipping products to real customers at meaningful scale.
• Strong product mindset: turn vague problems into valuable first versions.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production or startup settings.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to scope open-ended problems.
• Strong communication to explain trade-offs and decisions.
• Pragmatic, tech-agnostic approach to choose the right tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI agents in production, including tool calls and data integration.
• Translate business problems into scalable agentic workflows.
• Prioritise product value over pure ML performance.
• Develop eval suites to measure accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Enhance agent capabilities by curating datasets and testing changes.
• Contribute to internal AI platform, libraries, and standards.
