Job summary

RELEX is seeking a Product Engineer to reinvent forecasting models and the end-to-end workflow for retailers and manufacturers. You will own models from concept to production, collaborating across customer environments and applying agentic AI techniques to push capabilities forward.

The role emphasizes autonomy in a distributed, remote-friendly team, with opportunities for international collaboration and travel for customer work.

Qualifications

• Applied or theoretical understanding of modern forecasting and modelling methods.
• Proven track record owning ML or modelling end-to-end, from concept to production.
• Enthusiasm for agentic, AI-assisted engineering, with problem solving and directing AI tools.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and no fixed process.
• Decisive and able to ship in weeks, not months.
• Strong communication with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel roughly 1–2 trips per year.
• Bonus: experience in retail or supply chain.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Bonus: experience with international teams and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve plugin-based forecasting models end to end, including feature engineering and testing.
• Take forecasting problems from business needs to working models in production with ownership.
• Work across multiple customer environments to generalize solutions vs. customer-specific.
• Use AI and agentic tools as core parts of building, not just passive usage.
• Operate with autonomy in a distributed team without a fixed playbook.
