Job summary

Unknown Client is seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer to drive analytics and decision-making through predictive modelling and AI solutions. You will engage stakeholders, design and deploy models, and ensure production readiness across Databricks and Azure environments.

The role focuses on forecasting, pricing, revenue, capacity and operational planning, with strong Python and SQL skills and experience communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Forecasting and predictive modelling expertise.
• Advanced Python and ML libraries experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Databricks and Spark environments.
• Translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Independent yet collaborative with multiple teams.
• Exposure to MLOps / model lifecycle management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to translate problems into AI/ML solutions.
• Design, build and deploy ML models for forecasting, prediction and optimisation.
• Develop solutions for demand forecasting, pricing, revenue, capacity and planning.
• Work with data in Databricks and Azure environments.
• Build and maintain model training, evaluation and monitoring processes.
• Advise on AI/ML approaches for business use cases.
• Partner with data, engineering and technology teams for production readiness and measurable value.
• Present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI governance and solution design discussions.
