Job summary

IFS builds enterprise software for asset-intensive industries, with a CTO Office driving AI and frontier tech. You will own architecture for critical projects, delivering end-to-end, production-grade agentic systems and scalable AI solutions across ERP-like domains.

This hands-on architect role grows into a player-coach position, leading a small team of engineers while advising executives on technical and business impact.

Qualifications

• 15+ years building software with production ownership at enterprise scale.
• Review PRs, debug agents, and ship; interview process will verify this.
• Deep, current applied AI capability: production agentic systems, RAG, and model integration.
• Ability to articulate an evaluation strategy for LLM systems and production‑harden the solution.
• Experience hiring engineers and raising a team’s technical standard.
• Clear written and spoken communication at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and delivery on CTO Office priorities, end-to-end.
• Write and review code daily; production-quality work is expected.
• Design and ship agentic and LLM-based systems to production standards.
• Hire, coach, and set the technical bar for a small team of applied AI engineers.
• Brief executives and senior customer stakeholders on outcomes and commercial implications.
