Job summary

RES is seeking a Senior AI Architect and Engineer Lead to set the AI architecture for RES’s data and AI platform, designing LLM solutions, agents, machine learning and predictive models across a global renewable energy business.

Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, you will own forward-looking architectural design, combine AI engineering with solution architecture, establish standards for LLM reasoning, and lead advanced AI initiatives across enterprise data.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI engineering in Python and SQL for LLMs and generative AI.
• Experience designing AI architectures and reference designs.
• Proficient with enterprise cloud AI services (Azure or equivalent).
• 7+ years designing enterprise data architectures and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state AI architecture and patterns across AI domains.
• Lead hands-on design, coding and prototyping of AI solutions and agents.
• Set engineering standards, review production code and build reusable repos.
• Prototype emerging AI/data technologies and evaluate for adoption.
