Job summary
Prestwick Aerosystems Limited in Prestwick is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer / CNC Programmer to lead development and optimisation of manufacturing systems. The role focuses on CNC programming, automation equipment, and data-driven programming across engineering teams.
You will collaborate with Design and Manufacturing to create programming data, maintain simulation models, and manage tooling for efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing systems programming techniques.
- Proficiency with 3D modelling and CAD software.
- Familiarity with PDM tools and data management.
- Excellent communication with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise manufacturing systems and CNC programmes.
- Create and amend CNC programs for automation equipment.
- Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing to drive data and programming data.
- Maintain programming simulation models and data integrity.
- Support 3D data manipulation to enable manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical guidance and training to the business on programming.
