Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Manager for its Wimborne, Dorset-based Aerospace division. The role oversees a portfolio of complex sub-system projects across development, production and aftermarket, liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.

You will apply established project governance, manage risks, and support capacity planning and cross-functional alignment with Programme and Engineering teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• PM qualifications such as MSP, APM, or Prince2.
• Experience in project governance and lifecycle gate reviews.
• Aerospace sub-systems experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of projects within the Weapons Carriage & Release area, delivering sustainment and continuous improvement.
• Apply best-practice project management techniques to deliver on time and to budget.
• Act as primary PM contact for at least one major IPT customer and provide regular reporting.
• Collaborate with production, programme management, and procurement to identify and manage risks to delivery.
• Support capacity planning with the SIOP process for a 2-year horizon.
• Facilitate resolution of escalated issues through controlled planning and execution of work packages.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer service and explore funding with bid managers where applicable.
• Coordinate integration of projects with engineering and programme management teams.
