Eaton Wimborne, located in Wimborne, Dorset, is a leading provider of air-to-air refuelling systems and related aerospace solutions. We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to sustain and improve in-production and in-service products for multiple customers.

You will apply best-practice PM techniques, manage risks, report to stakeholders, and act as a PM contact for major customers while coordinating with production and engineering teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Owns costed, resource-loaded schedules and ensures realism and alignment with programme aims.
• Apply Eaton governance processes including lifecycle gate reviews and design reviews from a PM perspective.
• Coordinate with production, delivery managers, programme managers and stakeholders to mitigate risks.
• Support capacity planning and long-term SIOP processes for demand and supply alignment.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and participate in bids where funding may be available.

What you’ll do:

• Ownership of a portfolio of projects relating to the sustainment and continuous improvement of in production and in-service aerospace products currently supplied to multiple user aircraft.
• Responsible for applying best practice project management techniques to ensure delivery to time & cost for allocated projects of an agreed scope.
• Act as the primary project management PoC for at least one of the IPTs major customers
• Provide customer and internal summary reporting to a defined cadence, present and interpret information from multiple ‘Business as Usual’ sources as well as project data.
• Work closely with production Delivery managers, Programme manager and other stakeholders to identify and manage risk to customer production delivery in the medium term (6-24 month window)
• Support the production SIOP process for capacity planning on a 2 year window
• Facilitate resolution of escalated issues from Operations, Customer Account and Procurement stakeholders through controlled planning and execution of new projects or work packages.
• Support identification of new opportunities to improve customer service or experience; this includes working with bid managers & processes where additional customer funding may be available.
• Support Programme and Engineering managers to draw individual projects or work packages into efficient work streams, considering for example shared dependencies or synergy.
• Ownership of costed and resource loaded schedules for allocated projects; working closely with PMO planners to ensure the schedules remain realistic and support overall programme aims.
• Responsible for applying Eaton project governance processes, including project lifecycle gate reviews and supporting technical design reviews from a project management perspective.
