Job summary

Omega in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex aerospace engineering programmes through the full lifecycle, owning budgets, delivery and stakeholder management for multiple concurrent projects. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure robust governance against schedules and cost targets.

You will work with global OEMs in aerospace and defence, apply AS9100 and OEM requirements, and drive continuous improvement by implementing standardised PM

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multiple engineering projects in aerospace/defence.
• Strong budget, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and OEM requirements.
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• PM qualifications: APM, PMP or PRINCE2.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects end-to-end.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Serve as main contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardized PM processes.
• Manage projects within manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace/defence sector requirements.
