Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Gloucestershire is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of advanced composites or aerospace hardware, coordinating with customers and internal teams on schedules and budgets. Experience delivering physical hardware through industrialisation to production is essential.

You will build real project plans with critical paths, manage risks, and maintain clear, concise reporting for stakeholders while juggling multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Composites or aerospace project experience is the priority.
• Hands-on PM delivering physical hardware through industrialisation to production.
• Track record running multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong Office 365 skills including Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Commercial awareness to manage budgets and change.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery end to end, from kick-off through to completion.
• Build real project plans with critical paths, resource loading and honest timelines.
• Keep cost and schedule in the same picture to enable informed trade-offs.
• Be main point of contact for customers and internal teams with concise reporting.
• Spot risks early, quantify them and implement mitigation.
• Feed lessons learned back into how the team plans and governs future projects.

A milestone's at risk. You're the one in the room with the plan, the budget and the answer.

Our client is a fast-growing advanced composites manufacturer supplying aerospace, automotive, defence and space. They need a Project Manager with real composites or aerospace experience, someone who's delivered physical hardware to customer schedules and knows what "industrialisation" actually looks like on a shop floor.

You'll:

• Own project delivery end to end, from kick-off through to completion
• Build real project plans, with critical paths, resource loading and honest timelines
• Keep cost and schedule in the same picture, so trade-offs get made with full visibility
• Be the main point of contact for customers and internal teams, with reporting that's concise and paired with action
• Spot risks early, quantify them and escape before they become problems
• Feed lessons learned back into how the team plans and governs future projects

You'll need:

• Composites or aerospace project experience is the priority here, not a nice-to-have
• Hands-on project management delivering physical hardware, through industrialisation and into production
• A track record running multiple projects at once without losing control of any of them
• Strong Office 365 skills, particularly Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• The commercial awareness to manage budgets and change properly

Automotive or space experience will also be considered. APM/PMP/PRINCE2 or grant-funded project exposure (Innovate UK, ATI, ESA) are a bonus.
