Job summary

Metrea seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing across UK and EU operations. You will balance tactical buying with strategic supplier management, ensuring supply continuity, cost control, and contract compliance in a multicultural environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in procurement within Aerospace/Defence, strong PO management, and ERP experience (AMOS, D365). The role is hybrid, based in London, with 10–20% travel and a focus on sustainable sourcing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in a relevant sector.
• Experience in Aerospace/Defence or Aerospace Maintenance environments.
• Strong PO management and procurement process knowledge.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (AMOS, D365) and understanding Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end tactical purchasing, converting requisitions into POs and contracts with timely delivery and quality.
• Coordinate with UK/EU suppliers; act as escalation point for delivery or quality issues.
• Support mid-tier contract negotiations focusing on price, SLAs, and payment terms; monitor KPIs.
• Maintain procurement data accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet demand requirements; ensure compliance with policies and ESG goals.
