Job summary

Arguile in Berkshire is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategy and develop a high-performing team within the Defence & Aerospace sector. You will drive commercial performance across a critical supplier network and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to ensure on-time delivery while improving cost, quality and supply chain resilience.

• Strong procurement experience within manufacturing, engineering or production.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Good understanding of supply chain operations, MRP/ERP systems and inventory management.
• Experience leading and developing procurement or supply chain teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in pricing, contracts and cost management.
• Experience improving procurement processes and driving continuous improvement.

Procurement Manager | Berkshire | Defence & Aerospace

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing aerospace business developing innovative unmanned flight technology.

We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy, develop a high-performing team, and drive commercial performance across a critical supplier network.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to ensure materials and services are delivered on time, while improving cost, quality and supply chain resilience.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong procurement experience within manufacturing, engineering or production.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Good understanding of supply chain operations, MRP/ERP systems and inventory management.
• Experience leading and developing procurement or supply chain teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in pricing, contracts and cost management.
• Experience improving procurement processes and driving continuous improvement.

Desirable: Aerospace, defence or other highly regulated industry experience, SAP/ERP knowledge, ISO 9001 and CIPS (or equivalent).

Security: Ability to obtain security clearance, including 5 years’ UK residency.
