Job summary

Eaton Wimborne is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Air to Air refuelling and actuation value streams. You will optimise assembly and test processes, provide on-site technical support to operators, and help ensure on-time delivery of high-quality aerospace products.

The role is full-time and based on-site at Wimborne, Dorset, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and document management.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Experience with PPAP / APQP processes would be advantageous.
• Health and Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are desirable.
• Continuous Improvement certification (Green Belt) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering tasks for the facility, ensuring aerospace regulatory compliance.
• Translate drawings and test schedules into clear manufacturing instructions in ERP systems.
• Provide technical guidance on projects and solve shop-floor issues.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cost and increase repeatability.
