The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work within the Mechanical Design Engineering team at Eaton Wimborne. Design Engineering team are responsible for the development of mechanical designs and production of drawings across all product lines as MSD Wimborne. Design Engineers are allocated to projects as required and the role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of products. The role encompasses all aspects of the product lifecycle from support to bids, development of system requirements, concept design through to issue of production standard drawings. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will also provide support to production concessions and in service issues where applicable.
The successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods, and information. As a condition of employment, employees with access to US ITAR controlled technology and goods may be required to undergo an additional screening process as part of the recruitment process.
