Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join their Wealth Management firm based in London. This position offers a generous pay and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to financial advisers, including training and mentoring new and existing team members to facilitate early adoption of systems and processes.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks and project work as required for the Head of Wealth Management Support and the Operations Manager.
- Arrange client meetings for advisers via email or telephone.
- Prepare for client meetings, including quote requests, valuations, and literature.
- Prepare annual review packs, including fee tables.
- Conduct client anti-money laundering checks following compliance procedures.
- Prepare and submit applications and supporting documents to product providers, electronically and in paper form.
- Input new business proposals into the back-office system following company procedures.
- Manage fund switches and rebalances upon client and adviser instructions.
- Handle day-to-day client and provider correspondence via post, email, and telephone.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications with clients.
- Keep client information updated on the back-office system.
- Maintain client files in accordance with compliance procedures, including document scanning where necessary.
- Track fees and follow up as needed.
- Require at least 5 years of experience in an adviser support role.
- Experience processing business on wrap platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Critical evaluation skills to analyze and challenge information.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude towards work.
- Work accurately and adhere to procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Experience using provider platforms and product provider extranet sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Financial Planning certificate or equivalent.
Highly desirable
- Experience with Salesforce back-office system.
- Experience with Voyant software.
- Experience working for a Discretionary Fund Manager.
