Job summary

RBC Group is offering an excellent opportunity to join the Adviser Skills and Competence team in London as a Supervisor. You will work as part of a national supervisory group delivering quality oversight, risk analysis and developmental support to advisers.

The role requires 4 days in our London office and is full-time and permanent. You will manage adviser competency under SMCR, conduct observations, coaching and data analysis, and escalate risks as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FCA T&C handbook and regulatory environment.
• Experience supervising advisers and providing technical guidance.
• Ability to apply guidance across diverse situations.
• Strong data analysis and trend identification.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organisation.
• Collaboration with L&D, Risk & Compliance, HR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adviser competency under SMCR, including observations, 1:1s, coaching and feedback.
• Develop and monitor development plans with CPs and line managers.
• Provide expert counsel to panels, projects and strategic initiatives.
• Analyse MI/Data to identify patterns and root causes and recommend remedial actions.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Drive high standards and promote best practice across the national network.
