Job summary

Service Care is seeking an Adults Senior Practitioner - Social Care Qualified for a 2-week contract, primarily home-based in the UK. You will manage adult safeguarding cases, supervise staff, and perform safeguarding triage with external collaboration as needed.

The role requires proven social work experience in adult safeguarding, strong decision-making and supervision skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Worker in adult safeguarding.
• Strong decision‑making and staff supervision skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to attend meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Managing adult safeguarding cases with strong decision‑making skills.
• Leading and supervising staff within the safeguarding team.
• Conducting safeguarding triage assessments to ensure client safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to facilitate effective safeguarding processes.
• Attending meetings, training, and site visits as required (office visits will be scheduled periodically).
• Maintaining accurate records and case files in compliance with statutory requirements.
