Whilst having extensive experience in an administrative role is essential, NHS or other health care experience is not. We are first and foremost looking for an individual with a passion for people, customer service experience, extensive organisational and digital data management skills, an interest in working in a health care setting and a 'can do' attitude.
This role is at the heart of a cohesive and dedicated team and is a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations. You will work collaboratively with other administrators, closely with the clinicians and the team manager, to support them in ensuring high standards are maintained and that they have everything they need to provide the best possible care for service users.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence that they are comfortable multitasking, are confident offering supervisory support to other administrative staff, can communicate confidently, build strong working relationships with a variety of people and can prioritise their workload.
Duties will include comprehensive, pro‑active and re‑active diary management for the Consultants and medical team; processing of digital dictation and production of patient letters; minute taking; accurate and timely record keeping (confidential, sensitive and legal information) on the electronic patient record system.
