Job description

Job Description

Are you a highly organised administrator who thrives in a busy housing environment? We are looking for a proactive Senior Administrative Officer to provide high-quality business support across Housing Services, helping teams deliver effective services to tenants, leaseholders and local communities. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work closely with managers, support service improvement projects, and play an important part in ensuring excellent outcomes for residents and colleagues.

You will manage a diverse workload, making informed assessments, gathering and analysing information, and responding to enquiries, service requests and complaints. You will monitor actions, maintain key records and provide administrative and technical support across a range of housing systems and processes. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly liaise with residents, contractors, partner organisations and internal stakeholders, providing clear information, practical support and accurate advice.

The role also involves supporting performance monitoring, regulatory reporting, service reviews and data analysis, helping managers make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. Working within established procedures and service standards, you will be trusted to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and ensure agreed actions are delivered effectively. Full training will be provided to help you develop your knowledge of housing services, regulatory requirements and the systems used to support service delivery.

As part of a flexible and collaborative housing team, you may have opportunities to support a variety of service areas, including tenancy management, repairs, resident engagement, complaints, compliance and performance. This will broaden your experience, develop your skills and enable you to make a meaningful contribution to improving services for residents.

If you are looking for a role where your organisational skills, attention to detail and commitment to customer service can make a genuine difference, we would welcome your application.
