Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
This role is home-based covering caseloads in the North East of England; therefore, travel in this area is necessary.

Davies is seeking an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join our expanding Casualty team.

This role is suitable for an experienced Casualty Adjuster/investigator looking for a new challenge, who is ambitious and eager to develop their skills and knowledge.
What will your day look like:
- Liaising with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers
- Investigating assigned claims in the field or from the desk
- Gathering all necessary evidence and documentation
- Preparing Preliminary Reports with findings and comments
- Assessing Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Tactics
- Deciding on appropriate actions for case resolution
- Negotiating settlements within authority limits when appropriate
- Communicating professionally with all parties to progress cases
- Handling cases according to client requirements and documented procedures
- Maintaining proper reserves through regular reviews
- Staying updated on relevant technical changes and participating in training
- Performing any other reasonable instructions from line managers in line with business needs
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in handling Casualty Claims
- Knowledge of insurance and the insurance market
- Understanding of legal principles, regulations, Acts, etc.
- Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Responsibility for managing your workload
- Flexibility and adaptability
