Job summary

ASTM International's UK Advanced Manufacturing team is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Senior Engineer. The role focuses on metal AM, process maturity, industrial qualification, and integrating manufacturing data, modelling and digital workflows across UK and international programmes.

You will own work packages end to end, contribute to proposals, engage with industry partners, and represent ASTM with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• Typically, five or more years of relevant engineering experience in industry or applied R&D.
• Proven track record of independently delivering technical projects or work packages, from initial scoping and planning through to completion and reporting, with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and stakeholders across industry, academia and government.
• Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent industrial research and development experience would be advantageous.
