Job summary

Mane Energy is seeking a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join their advanced manufacturing team in the UK. This role involves the development and optimisation of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) processes for aerospace and defence components.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with WAAM technologies. A commitment to quality and compliance with industry standards is vital, alongside opportunities for professional development in a pioneering environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with WAAM technologies.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining including up to 5-axis operations.
  • Experience within aerospace, defence or high-integrity manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise WAAM deposition parameters for aerospace-grade materials.
  • Generate robotic deposition paths using additive manufacturing software.
  • Support New Product Introduction activities for WAAM-optimised components.
