Job summary

Gallagher Re is seeking an experienced actuary to influence Captive Programmes across the EMEA region. You will evaluate structures, collaborate with Treaty teams, and build strong client relationships while supporting growth targets and delivering advanced actuarial insights.

The role requires 4+ years of actuarial experience, a broad background in reinsurance and risk management, and fluency in English. Location is flexible across major European hubs, with a strong emphasis on collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional actuarial experience.
• Background in auditing, consultancy, captives, reinsurance, or broking.
• Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and structuring of Captive Programmes tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with Treaty teams to ensure smooth placement of Captive business.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders across the EMEA region.
• Help us achieve ambitious growth targets.
• Provide expert actuarial insights to develop innovative reinsurance and risk management solutions.
