Job summary

Lloyd's is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate in the Capital Oversight team to review syndicate capital models and provide independent challenge across the market.

You will work with underwriters and brokers, translate complex actuarial results for senior stakeholders, and support ongoing capital optimisation initiatives while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Strong communication, collaboration, and project delivery skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent).
• Experience in non-life insurance and capital modelling is desirable.
• Strong actuarial and analytical skills with ability to challenge constructively.

• Experience delivering projects and managing competing priorities.
• A collaborative approach and a willingness to challenge constructively.
• Knowledge of Excel and an interest in tools such as R, VBA or other analytical programming languages.
