Job summary

Lloyd’s is seeking an actuarial professional focused on capital modelling within its non-life insurance framework. You will review syndicate capital models, assess changes to meet Lloyd’s and regulatory standards, and conduct deep-dive reviews of internal models to drive better risk insights.

You’ll mentor analysts, present to senior stakeholders, and collaborate across Lloyd’s to enhance tools and processes related to the Internal Model and capital management.

Qualifications

• Experience in non-life insurance with exposure to capital modelling.
• Strong actuarial and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and confidently.
• Experience delivering projects and managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review syndicate capital models and submissions, identifying key risks and areas for challenge.
• Assess major model changes against Lloyd’s and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct deep-dive reviews of syndicate internal models.
• Improve review tools, frameworks and processes.
• Support and develop analysts through coaching and technical guidance.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with managing agents and colleagues across Lloyd’s.
• Contribute to wider actuarial projects, including work relating to the Lloyd’s Internal Model.
