Job summary

Lloyd's in London is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate in Capital Oversight to review syndicate capital models, identify risks, and help ensure robust capital management across the market. You will present findings to senior stakeholders, coach analysts, and contribute to the Lloyd's Internal Model program, working with our global team to turn insight into impact.

The role expects non-life insurance experience, strong Excel and programming interest (R/VBA), and near‑qualified or Fellow status

Qualifications

Experience with non-life insurance capital modelling and strong actuarial skills.
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders.
Experience delivering projects and managing competing priorities; collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

Review syndicate capital models and submissions, identifying key risks and areas for challenge.
Assess major model changes against Lloyd’s and regulatory requirements.
Conduct deep-dive reviews of syndicate internal models and improve review tools and processes.
Coach and develop analysts through technical guidance and mentorship.
Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Build relationships with managing agents and colleagues across Lloyd’s.
