Job summary

Markel International is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support the UK portfolio, delivering actuarial insight across reserving, pricing, and portfolio management while collaborating with senior stakeholders in a visible role.

You will join a team of actuarial professionals, with flexible remote and office locations; the role offers ownership of analyses and exposure to a diverse book of business, including Professional Indemnity, Property, Social Care and Legal Expenses lines.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across Finance, Underwriting, and Capital.
• Ability to work in a team, prioritise workload and support colleagues.
• Proficiency across pricing and reserving actuarial topics.
• Experience delivering analyses to senior management and portfolio teams.
• London office presence 2 days a week; willingness to visit UK offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial insight across reserving, pricing, and portfolio management.
