Job summary

AVANTE CARE AND SUPPORT LIMITED welcomes applications for an Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator at Amherst Court. The role focuses on creating engaging activities to enhance residents' wellbeing and independence within a warm, person-centred environment.

You will plan and deliver a mix of social events, 1:1 support, and outings, with flexible weekend work and the potential to drive the minibus for outings. Experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering recreational or wellbeing activities is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Creating meaningful experiences that promote independence and wellbeing
• Stimulating body and mind through planned and spontaneous activities
• Supporting residents to remain active in the community
• Collaborating with colleagues, families, and volunteers
• Driving the Avante minibus for outings (if needed)
• Coordinating group and 1:1 activities tailored to individual interests
• Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy
