Senior Acquisition Specialist - Direct Mobile

Poole - Merck House, Seldown Lane, Poole, BH15 1TW / Hybrid (approx. two days per week in the office)

Salary – £27,707 per annum with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission OTE £35,000 per annum

Hours – Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm

No weekend working!

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Business Centre in Poole as a Senior Acquisition Specialist - Direct Mobile focusing on acquiring new customers from SMB (Small Medium Business, 10-99 mobile connections) within our mobile category. You’ll take a leading role engaging with our nationwide business hubs in retail stores, driving relationships and customer referrals. This includes creating and delivering colleague webinars to educate on business mobile referrals, managing incentives and buzz days, and building relationships.

Initially, you'll work full-time in the office for training, then transition to a hybrid model with approximately two days per week in the office.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Onboarding and developing new B2B customers, primarily for mobile, with opportunities to cross-sell other products and services.
  2. Analyzing and understanding customer needs across all product categories of the direct channel.
  3. Building call lists and generating organic pipeline growth using multiple platforms and channels, including cold calling and targeting specific verticals.
  4. Processing sales orders accurately into relevant systems, ensuring CRM data is correctly entered, including sales source/campaign and no-sale reasons if applicable.
  5. Delivering reports and analysis to identify and maximize sales opportunities.

You will need:

  1. Experience in outbound sales, preferably B2B or mobiles.
  2. A negotiation and sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities quickly.
  3. Results-oriented approach.
  4. Strong organizational skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  5. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills across core office applications.
  8. Knowledge of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator is desirable.
