We have an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Business Centre in Poole as a Senior Acquisition Specialist - Direct Mobile focusing on the acquisition of new customers from SMB (Small Medium Business, 10-99 mobile connections) within our mobile category. You’ll take a leading role engaging with our nationwide business hubs in our retail stores, to drive relationships and customer referrals. This will include helping to create and deliver colleague webinars to educate and engage on business mobile referrals, taking part in the running of incentives and buzz days and all-around relationship building and management.

For the first couple of months, you'll work full-time in the office, however, once fully trained you'll be able to work on a hybrid basis with approximately two days per week in the office.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Onboarding and development of new B2B customers predominately for mobile but also within our other product and additional services categories when an opportunity presents itself
  • Analysing and understanding the customer needs across all product categories of the direct channel
  • Building call lists and generating organic pipeline growth through use of multiple platforms across various channels with an openness to cold calling techniques and ability to target certain verticals
  • Processing all sales orders accurately and efficiently into the relevant systems; ensuring all CRM data is entered correctly including sales source/campaign and no-sale reasons if applicable.
  • Delivering reporting/analysis to identify and maximise all sales opportunities

You will need:

  • Experience of working within outbound sales, ideally B2B or mobiles
  • Negotiator / sales driven mind set with ability to identify opportunities quickly
  • To be results driven
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills across core office applications
  • An understanding of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator would be desirable
