Mitchell Adam is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a Birmingham City Centre organisation. You will own the day-to-day AP function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and supplier payments are made on time.

In this busy finance team you will maintain the purchase ledger, investigate discrepancies, support month-end close, and identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies. This is a hands-on role with real impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable and purchase ledger.
• Oversee end-to-end process and maintain strong controls.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day Accounts Payable function.
• Process invoices and supplier payments accurately and on time.
• Support month-end close and supplier reconciliations.
